First day of school

Mommy had to go back to work on May 12th. I'm used to going off to school every day, but Emmeline isn't. I told Mom and Dad I'd look out for her.

Family outing

Warm weather has finally arrived in Rochester! We took Emmeline and Atticus and Kody on a lovely walk to the beach and had a wonderful time! (And we kept young E well protected from the sun.)

Day Out with Thomas the Tank Engine

Mommy and Daddy told me they had a special surprise for me, so off we went on a secret journey.


Daddy kept telling me I'd really really like it.


I didn't know what to expect, but I was pretty excited.


Then I saw him coming down the track...


A real, life-sized Thomas the Train!

I even got to go on a ride, INSIDE Thomas!

They had face-painting, too...

And they had lots of trains and tracks that we could play with.

And a clown making animals out of balloons.

And a cool hay maze.

Oh, and Mommy and Emmeline were there, too.

What a great day!

A trip to the zoo

Opa came to visit us! We went on a wonderful trip to the zoo.


He showed me all the animals.


We saw turtles.

And seals.

My brush with the law

The bad news is that Mom and Dad's car was broken into and stuff was stolen. The good news is that the police came to file a report.

I got a special police badge to wear.


AND I GOT TO RIDE IN THE POLICE CAR!

Right after this picture was taken, I reached over and pressed a button, and THE SIREN WENT OFF! It scared everybody, but I was pretty excited.
