Big dinosaurs!

Daddy took me to see the dinosaur exhibit at the Rochester Museum and Science Center. I was so excited I couldn't stop jumping up and down!

I was a little afraid at first--they're pretty big, after all--but I got over my fear and had a great time.

In this video, I'm the one that keeps saying, "Hooray!" over and over, with a few "Roar!"s thrown in for good measure.

Big A's new trick

Who knows what circus seal he's been talking to, but this is Atticus' favorite new dinner-time trick...

Useful baby

Besides being cute and all that, Daddy found a great new use for Emmeline the other day.

Remote control rest!

She has eyeballs!

Emmeline was awake for a short period of time the other day and we discovered that she does, in fact, have eyeballs!

She had a grand time looking around her changing table.

This almost looks like the beginnings of a smile, no?

Baby's Bib

Doesn't Emmeline's little bib look silly on me? Still, I insisted on wearing it and saying "cheese!" for the camera...

As Mom likes to have me say, "I'm a goofball!"

Happy Two Weeks!

Mommy forgot to make a sign, but these photos were taken on 3/19, my two-week birthday.

Can you believe they made me do tummy time on my birthday?

I was OK with it for about 10 seconds.

But enough is enough!

"Pee Pee Where Are You?"

For those of you who remember Atticus' brief successes with the big boy potty, don't get too excited. He still shows very little interest in it. But the other day he did ask to go pee pee on the potty, so off we went. He really wanted Mom to sing the "Pee Pee Where Are You" song, which she dutifully did, but to no avail. Alas.

Thomas the Train

Atticus has a new obsession--er, hobby. He loves his Thomas the Train trains and tracks. What fun!

Sleep when the "baby" sleeps.

Adding a new family member has been a big adjustment for all of us. Sometimes the best way to deal with all that change is to share some hugs and take a nap...

Happy One Week!

It's hard to believe, but Emmeline has already been in our lives for a week.

She even has her eyes open sometimes...

And she loves getting kisses from her Daddy!

Meeting the family

After getting to know her brother, little Emmeline got to meet some other very important people in her life.

First, Nana came to visit in the hospital.

And her Opa came to meet her, too.

When she got home, she met Kody, who immediately took up his role as protector.

What a lucky girl!

Emmeline is here!

Atticus is thrilled to be a big brother and to welcome Emmeline! Although she may not fully realize it yet, Emmeline is very grateful to have such a wonderful big brother to show her the ropes.
